Spaying hippo

Today i brought my dog Hippo for spaying in my senior's new clinic. She was sooooo anxious. When we wanted to give tkx( to induce anaesthesia) , we tried muzzle her but she was very restless with the muzzle. Eventually we remove the muzzle and it seems she feels better that my senior manage to give her intravenously! This is a news for this very hyperactive dog.
Hippo was a lucky dog actually . At 3 months age, she met with an accident that fractured her lower jaw. I prayed hard and make a promise that i will study vet if she recovered. So she was the reason, simple , isn't it ? I always keep to my promise and i keep it hard.
Back to the future: Hippo straight away lost conscious.. I was thinking , finally you monster dog is down.. My senior asked me to do but I only managed to do until the linea alba was incised. I couldn't find her uterus and i started feeling stressed.. imagine operating my own dog.. When I see her bleeding i can look n0 omore... and my senior Dr W was kind enough to finish for me
Then I felt so stupid, why am i like this ? THis is not like a vet graduate at all... but my confidence brush up a bit when Dr W let me do some consulting of few vaccination cases. well , I hope my skills will brush up when I start my new job in the clinics next week
Hippo is okay but she looked depressed and unwilling to eat. Usually she has an enourmous appetite! So different from her oldself. I guessed the wound is painful . i wish she will get well soon, cause I m planning to go back to kl this thursday. Sorry my dear... to put you through this, but since you are not going to give birth, this is the best for you ..... pls eat tomorrow, ok ?
